Thank you to all my friends for your prayers during my recent hip replacement surgery. Just to let you know, I am doing very well. Last Wednesday, it took 5 minutes for me to be able to go up just two steps from my garage into the hours because I was in so much pain. As of today, I am virtually pain-free......AMAZING how the body heals itself. I have a long way to go with my physical therapy. There are so many things that I have to be careful of with this new hip surgery---will not be able to bend over more than 90 degrees for several months which means poor Sam will have to get up every morning when I go back to work and help me get my socks and shoes on for several months (ugh!). Also, I am getting a little freaked out thinking about walking around in snow and sleet---hope and pray we dont get any this year. Anyway, I hope to be able to get out of the house this weekend and walk around the neighborhood with a cane. That is the plan anyway. So, keep your prayers coming.!
