Thank you to all of our veterans, past, present, and future. We thank you for your service and sacrifice. The fourth installment of A Military Life, an exhibit specifically designed to help honor Washington County Veterans, is now on display in the Jonesborough/Washington County History Museum. Also, weve shared some pictures from an event the Alliance was fortunate enough to attend this September. The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 979 out of Kingsport conduct programs all across the region where they share their stories. The Heritage Alliance has the honor of hosting one of these programs on January 19th at 2:00 p.m. at the Jonesborough Visitors Center. Keep an eye out for additional information in the near future. In the meantime, artifacts on loan from members of Chapter 979 are included in this installment of A Military Life. Please go and check it out!
