Thank you to all our volunteers that showed up today to sew bedding for Iowa NICUs. They sewed Hawkeye and Cyclone bedding for our annual Cy-Hawk donation. When that was finished, an incredible amount of other cute, cute fitted sheets, flat sheets and fleece pads were sewn. Several ladies took items home to finish up for us. Bedding sewn today will be donated to Blank Childrens Hospital NICU, University of Iowa Childrens Hospital NICU. A huge shout out to everyone that donated money and fabric to us during the last year. Without you we would not be able to donate bedding to as many hospitals. This bedding will provide a bit of color to an otherwise sterile hospital environment. We hope the nurses and families will love the great new fabric prints as much as we do. They will be delivered to the NICUs in the next 4-6 weeks (as soon as the last bit is finished up).
