Thank you to everyone for all you messages kind words and encouragement. For those of you that dont I had a really horrific car accident on Saturday 10th October. I dont remember a thing that happened. I was helicoptered to Southampton Hospital where firstly they fought to save my life.... Then I had 3 operations to mend my shattered pelvis broken hips and broken leg. So I have been pinned screwed bolted and plated back together. Apparently my pelvis was a bit of a jigsaw !. After 2 and a half weeks I was moved to Salisbury Hospital for Plastic Surgery to fill the gapping hole below my right knee which went to the bone and about 5 X 7 inches. They took flesh from my tummy to repair it. I am now having physio to help me walk again but is going very slowly as my static nerve was badly damaged and effects my left foot which will no longer move at all. I now need to move to Poole for Intensive Physio to get me walking. My wheelchair has arrived and I have sat in it once. Am just waiting for a bed in Poole then I would be moved.
