Thank you to my friends, Lydia Mendoza, Roxann Phillips, Kathy Gee and others who laughed around the Equinox Circle Fire this weekend and listened to some his-tory---- HERSTORIES !!!! as i cut up and burned my 40 year old back pack. Hitch hiked around New Zealand with it fresh out of College, lived out of it on and off in areas of Australia, Canada and traveling across country in 1977 to find my hOMe of the last 36 years. WOW ! I always figured a ceremonial burning would happen one day. Was fun to cut off the leather pockets i had hand stitched on the old army disposal basic bag to make it more functional for me and then to discover a yin yang i had drawn there 40 years previously... Its STILL an important image and symbol to remind me to go with the Flow of Duality and remember its all ONENESS.....
