Thank you to the Good Samaritan that quite possibly saved my colleagues life this morning on Prince of Wales near Baseline. My colleague, on his motorcycle, turned left from Baseline into the left lane on Prince of Wales, when *some guy* driving a Blue Hyundai Accent turned right from Baseline onto Prince of Wales decided that the right lane wasn’t good enough for him, and he wanted to be in the left lane at the same time, without signaling and without waiting for the space to open up. My colleague honked his horn, at which the guy in the Hyundai whose front window was parallel with the bike, took out his phone to take pictures of my colleague on his bike, all the while having pushed the bike onto the double yellow line and oncoming traffic. The Good Samaritan, presumably a biker himself, saw all this in his rear view mirror, and pulled his Dark Grey older model Jeep Cherokee in front of the Hyundai Accent, blocked him, waved for my colleague on his bike to ride ahead, got out of his SUV and started yelling at the guy in the Hyundai. My colleague doesn’t know what happened next, but would very much like to thank this Good Samaritan. If anyone knows who this man might be, driving a Dark Grey older model Jeep Cherokee with a white sticker in the back rear window, please let him know how much his actions are appreciated.
