Thank you to the new Mr & Mrs Bartlett for the lovely letter that you have sent us, we are so happy that you enjoyed our food and service... As soon as we had chosen Beales to cater for our wedding we knew we had absolutely made the right choice. Tony and his team really listened to the type of menu we wanted and really went the extra mile to create canapés and dishes which were perfect for our Christmas wedding – even down to the style of bowls/plates used! Laura who helped us coordinate our menu was an absolute star who again took the time and effort to really appreciate what we were after and was always extremely helpful, professional and so lovely to work with. And then came the tasting…. We were literally blown away by head chef Maciek’s food and the kindness of event manager Mahmoud who guided us through our choices. It was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. We really struggled to choose between the fantastic dishes he had created and evidently put so much thought and effort into. We struggled so much that even though we are not vegetarian’s we asked for a little side taster of the vegetarian choice that we went for along with our main meal on the wedding day for which they kindly obliged! Maciek was able to expertly advise us on our choices and explained how our buffet was sourced from the most quality produce – we felt incredibly looked after. All of our suggestions were taken on board and expertly noted so that we really had what we wanted on the day. On the wedding day itself we were thrilled that Maciek was able to cook for us again and that Mahmoud was our event manager. From the start we and our guests could not fault the out of this world service and quality of food that Beales provided. We were so touched that Mahmoud made sure we had our own VIP special canapés, and gave us extra food and attention for the actual meal that really made us feel so special. It was a lovely touch that really gives an idea of the professionalism, kindness and thoughtfulness of Beales as a caterer, as well as of course the kindness of the wonderful event manager! The team that were present on the day were just fantastic – making sure everyone had a full glass and cleared courses so efficiently and with such grace - they literally looked like they were swooping in to help as they lined up and worked effortlessly as a team – it was unbelievable. The layout of our long tables could have been a challenge but this did not daunt Beales who took in their stride our desire to have a relaxed dining experience but still have a wonderfully efficient and professional service. The food itself on the day was again just amazing – we had so many comments that it was the best wedding food our guests had ever had! It must be so hard to cater on mass and keep the same quality that we experienced at the tasting but Beales managed it!! The buffet was also incredible – so much food and of such high quality. Some of our guests could not believe their eyes. Thank you so much Beales for what we can only say was a truly faultless experience. I would recommend Beales to anyone planning a wedding or event, and am currently thinking up an excuse for a party so we can use them again and sample some of their delicious food!
