Should you need assistance with directions, don’t hesitate to call our main information line: (513) 287-7000 Parking/Arrival/Check-In: When you register to volunteer at Culture Fest, your name will be left with one of our parking attendants. Upon arrival, let the attendant know that you are volunteering, and provide your name. Parking is complimentary. When you enter the building, proceed to the Volunteer Check-In/Passport table, which will be located near our main information desk (kiosk) in the rotunda. Beth Pollitt, a CMC staff member AND Volunteer Coordinator will be there to welcome you and get you started. There will also be a Sign-In sheet at this table to record your hours if you need to. Attire: Feel Free TO DRESS IN YOUR MOST IMPRESSIVE African Garb! Not required Breaks/Food/Drink If you are volunteering for more than 4 hours, you will be provided a half-hour break. We have a food court, coffee shop and vending machines where you may purchase items if you like. Note: due to the volume of visitors during our special events, be aware that the lines for food service may be a little longer than usual. It may make sense to bring a sandwich or snack with you so that can enjoy more of your break. Emergency Cancellation/Phone # where you can be reached If something would happen on the day that you are scheduled to volunteer (you are sick, your car breaks down…), please contact our Public Safety office at (513) 287-7048, and they can get a message to the event staff. This number may also be used if someone needs to contact you while you are here, in case of an emergency, and you do not have a cell phone. Questions?
