Thankful for all these beautiful messages that I keep finding, this one was sent back in June and I just saw it. Thankful for My Sweet and Adorable Boy that touched more hearts then I could have ever imagined. Dear Mrs. Ghilotti, I was one of Dinos friends down here at the University of Miami, and just read your post on the Cat-Daddys wall; your words brought tears to my eyes and I wanted to express how beautifully written it was. I truly commend you and your family for being SO strong in the face of such an awful tragedy, and the special and amazing way in which you all continue to make sure that his spirit lives on. I have a large, extremely close family myself and embrace my role as the older bro to 3 younger sisters and a younger brother; I can only imagine the heartbreak you all feel, but it is just absolutely amazing,inspiring and heartwarming to see the positive energy your family emits on a daily basis by posting on Dinos facebook and cherishing and sharing all of the great times each of you had with him. And I just know that each and every day he looks down from heaven with that huge smile stretched across his face as he reads your posts and looks at all the pictures, reliving all of the unforgettable family memories as he shares the stories with God and the other angels up there. He lived one of the most fulfilling lives out of anybody I have every met, doing more amazing things and accomplishing more in 22 years than most people do in a lifetime. Dino was such a great and unique person, the best person, someone who had that rare type of personality that attracted everybody he encountered. He was easily one of the nicest people I have ever met. It takes a VERY special person to be loved by so many people here at the U and throughout the rest of the country, and Im lucky enough to be able to call your son my friend; he impacted so many people, myself included. I like to think of him as one of the very few people here on this Earth who truly didnt have a single bad bone in his body. You and your family are just such an amazing group of people that I felt a strong desire to share my feelings with you. I dont think many families would have been able to carry on in the same unbelievably positive manner as you Ghilottis have--it goes to show just how strong, incredible and unique your family is, and the amount of respect I have for all of you is too much to even put into words. Recently, in certain moments when I am feeling down, I think about Dino, the way in which he lived every minute of his life to the fullest, the manner in which your family has handled this situation, and it gives me strength in my own life. God bless you, Mrs. Ghilotti, along with the rest of your family--Dino was truly raised by the most amazing, special, tight-knit family he could have ever asked for and while he is no longer with us physically, his spirit and legacy will most definitely live on forever, in the hearts of so, so many people.
