The Academic Associates Program, a partnership between the Texas Children’s Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, and the University of Houston, gives undergraduate students the opportunity to be exposed to clinical research as well as observe the clinical practice of pediatric emergency medicine. Students will have didactic seminars on research methods, data collection & processing, and ethical issues related to research. Student will be actively involved in various clinical studies taking place in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Texas Childrens Hospital.
