Thankful today for many things - my awesome husband and kids, my moms returning health, two loving families that uphold and support one another, and a vibrant, fully alive church family. But most of all, I am thankful this year for a broken dream restored...for at long last I am a teacher, and nothing prepared me for how much I would love those kids, how tired Id be in body and soul, and how deep the commitment goes. We can look forward in the next couple of years to restored financial health, and perhaps a home of our own. We are truly blessed this year.
