Thankful today in remembrance of my Pa, Russ Hellier. Grannys art studio is filled with reminders of his lifelong labor as a skilled carpenter. Everything made of wood in this room he built with his hands in the shop in his garage. Including an adjustable draft table with sockets underneath and a light switch to make the backlit frosted glass light up for Granny as she worked on her watercolor paintings. Hard to believe most of this stuff was built over 20 years ago. Its really held up, as does our loving memory of him. Rest in peace Pa, Happy Thanksgiving.
