Thankfulness Day 2: Today, and every day, I am thankful for Scotland - my beloved adopted homeland for almost 29 years. Tomorrow I will be among the 97% who stand up to be counted no matter which way the vote goes. I am excited. I am nervous. I am tearful. I am prayerful. I am honoured . . . And deeply, deeply thankful. Much will change regardless. Tonight, however, I am thankful for all that will not change. Come Friday morning I will wake up next to the formerly ginger Scotsman I love with all my heart, kiss our son whose name means praise, in the beauty of a landscape rivalled only by the passion of its people - who have given so much to me. I will continue to love all that Scotland has become to me and commit myself to our future yes or no and be thankful for the opportunity to do so.
