Thanks Elli Stephenson.... I have heard the military instills right wing ideas, simply by its culture of political conservatism. I am not sure if there is redeeming value to those attitudes. It has been Obama and the Democrats who have stood up for veterans, for military families, and even have been in the forefront of interceding for the most sensible, responsible foreign policy. Republicans, sadly, seem again and again to love the war but hate the veterans. Sad.
