Thanks Jeannette Kelley-Lee. Not too far off. Sadly most families and Seniors think Medicare is. going to put you into assisted living.Not going to happen. Think at least $3,000.00 a month-Medicare only covers meds. You cover the rest. Home care is a bit cheaper, but the care givers get paid terrible. They will probably be eating your parents painkillers to deal with it. Once the money is gone? Good luck finding a Medicare facility with an opening, and get used to the smell of piss and shit. Got a parent? You really need to be thinking about this. Talk about it now.
