Thanks Jill....not. 7 things you dont know about me? 1. My earliest real memory is aged 3 my mum allowing me to get up out of bed to hear my very favourite tune at the time. Crazy Horses by The Osmonds :) 2. When I was 4 I decided to go off and play with my friends at the high flats we stayed in in Foxbar. While climbing over a spike topped fence I slipped and was left hanging by my (uber cool) sheepskin jacket for several minutes while someone went to get my dad 3. I used to play canoe polo at international level. My worst memory of this was 4 of us (yes 4) in a Vauxhall Nova (Ford Fiesta size) with all our kit, boats and camping gear driving to Belgium with me and my mate David sitting in the rear seat with our knees up round our ears! 4. I used to climb a lot with my dad when I was younger. My best memory of this was climbing all the peaks on Arran in 2 days (sleeping on the ridge for the night). In the morning we awoke in mist and saw aglory (your shadow projected onto the fog by the sun with a rainbow halo around your head....google it; amazing!) 5. I very nearly drowned on the River Etive after my kayak was pinned underwater in a waterfall. The only thing that saved me was an air bubble in front of my face which bought me enough time (and oxygen) to figure out an escape plan which, after 2 minutes submerged, worked! 6. During the (protracted) birth of Heather there was a total eclipse of the moon (which turns blood red during this event). I kept checking if shell be out yet? and, when told no, nipped out to see how things were going. Dont worry I didnt miss the main event (or the birth :D ) 7. Scariest moment was when I had a front tyre blow out at 80 on the M8, spun several times and came to a halt about 20 feet up the embankment unharmed. Lucky is NOT the word! OK, your turn David King & John Hill
