Thanks everybody for the support and your likes for Sala Budha page ... I am overwhelmed to receive your love and blessings. Some friends fail to find the link to the page. Here is the link : https://facebook/SalaBudhaTheStupidOldman This is a mission to spread humanitarian values that my father had envisioned while performing his Govt job as a school teacher. He was a Gandhian and a voracious reader. He used to remain library in-charge of the school to have easy access to books and satisfy his urge to read more and more.My mother says, he would read whole night with a lantern in his bed side. His writing started after retirement. He would write SRI GADHA in the name of the writer when he writes something. He would often say, never publish my works before my death. It was our close family friend and well wisher ( a friend ,philosopher and guide), the legendary film personality of Odisha, Shri Sarat Pujari who happens to see one of my fathers menuscript. Sh Pujari , a well learned person, a retired principal ( Laramba College and Sangit Natak Academy,Bhubaneswar ) appreciated the work and advised us to publish it. SALA BUDHA the story book in Odia came out.... The literary and humanitaian values of the book was highly appreciated by writers and intellectuals of Odisha. When the Hindi translation came, it was appreciated more than the Odia version.Padmasri Srinivas Udgata,ex-prsident, Odisha Sahitya Academy, a famous literary person of Odisha ( His hindi translations are popular all over India) translated it into Hindi. This inspired us to make a film. The idea is to give a raw feeling.Life as it is. No exaggaration...no larger than life. This is the most difficult job in film making. The profit or return of money is vital. We decided not to go for business. And...the black and white idea emerged. Even now the state of people of Odisha is in this state....
