Thanks for admitting me to the group. Im a couple of weeks short of my 61st birthday. Im British and have lived in Scotland since 1985. I also contribute to Scotland/Ireland/England and New Zealand from the Roadside groups on FB. I lived near Washington DC as a child from 1960-62 when my father had a two year posting at the British Embassy. My love to the US, its people and scenery, was born then, and Ive made several visits since, though my next one is overdue! I make no apology for including a railroading context in many of my pictures. Heres my first one, taken in Cumberland, Md, on a wet evening in October 2006.
