Thanks for all the visitors and prayers while I taken by ambulance to the hospital. The ambulance driver had been called to my house several times. I always have refused to go and have them help me by calling my oncologist and having him direct the EMT on what to do to get my vitals or pain under control. When he explained that he could not stabilize me at home this time I knew I had to go. The look on his face when I said take me to the hospital was priceless lol. He could not believe it along with the room full of people whose jaws were all hanging open lol. Within minutes of arriving they wanted to transport me to St. Vincent and of course I told the ER doc to stabilize me and I would be going home. He did not believe me at first but soon realized I meant what I said. After the maximum dosage morfiene (I do not take many pain meds and do not like them) and dozens of other injections they finally got my vitals stabilized. I know one day I will die from cancer but by the grace of God it was not going to be yesterday.
