Thanks for driving us to practice, forcing us to stay in even when we wanted to quit, hosting serenade parties, bringing us lunch on competition days, paying our band fees, organizing the concession stand and trailers, attending every single competition despite the weather and distance to drive, waking us up at 5:15am because you knew we would sleep through our alarms, encouraging us to make friendships within the band because you knew theyd be good influences on us, buying us this silly yellow crayons to mark our charts, purchasing all of the Mikes Express coupons so we wouldnt get in trouble, wearing your greenwood garb proudly everywhere you went and plastering it all over your cars, and so much more that I know Im leaving out. Debbie Parker Beaman youve seen a lot with the greenwood band, and Im thankful that you encouraged me to be a part of such a phenomenal program. Im incredibly proud to be an alum and part of the tradition.
