Thanks for my nomination Gorgie marie dean.. Even tho I dont have a horse lol.. This is prince I had him for around 5 months. He was 13 and a complete nightmare.. He bit, kicked, weaved, constantly booted his stable door, wouldnt tie up, lunge, be ridden, wear a rug, wouldnt ride out alone or in comany the list is endless. There was many times when the farmer could see my foot prints in the snow at 6am from where he had dragged me all over.. I poured blood sweat and tears into that boy and when he used to be a school master you can tell how much he declined and how much being undereducated on horses can determine how the horse behaves.. I hate saying it but his owner ruined everything about him. He had no trust in people and when I realised he was scared thats when everything changed. He started trusting me and slowly he started behaving and being like any other horse. The person who rode him out before I got him he took off and face planted the floor, I was so worried about what he would do, but a bond and trust got him to where he is now. He is now back in a riding school and I know that If I wouldnt of kept going with him he never would of got there.. I had to take a school master right back to basics.. When I say basics I mean being stripped of everything and started all over again. I love this boy so much, shame he got sold from under my nose because he was by far the best horse I have ever known.
