Your figure would mean 75% of the nation is in poverty or near it. For the record, Poverty level for a single person 11,670. For each additional person on the family you add 4,060. As for your $94,000 claim - sure you could claim that - if the family size is 15 or more - how many families do YOU know with 13 kids these days?
