Thanks for the kind words and concern everybody! Everything is fine...just had the ceiling in my closet crack open from water even though I paid $1200 to get it fixed two weeks ago. At first the contractor was denying responsibility but then he stopped over and agreed to fix it. Did I mention the leak ruined two of my leather Coach purses? Then since our computer crashed, we bought a new very basic one and I had to pay to install Microsoft Office. After THREE long hours online with a tech support person, they were able to get it done. Can you imagine trying to get a one year old to sit still nearby for 3 hours while corresponding online and on the phone? While grabbing for her, I hit shut down just as we were getting close to finishing. I really need it because I am teaching a new course starting in less than two weeks AND I already have 38 kids enrolled in that one class! Then there were the 3 puddles and 1 pile Daisy left me even though she was outside for hours! As soon as she came in, boom! HA! But now Katie is napping, the computer is fixed, I am working on my syllabus, and the roofer will be back on Friday to finish. And despite a bumpy morning, life is very good. Especially when I know I have friends who care! : )
