Thanks for the post Curtis Gropp. Lo about 20 years ago I read The Drive-In by Joe Lansdale and I was immediately hooked on Uncle Joe. Shortly thereafter, I read Cold In July, and (as I am fond of saying) it changed my idea of what fiction could be, and opened my eyes to a whole new world. The man is so prolific, I cant keep up. But Im trying. Anyway... This right here. This is how you write a novel. This is how you adapt a novel. This is how you cast a movie. This is how you make a movie. This is how you make a movie a period-accurate homage to 1989, with nods to John Carpenter in the title font and the score. This is how you blow my mind and make me smile and, hopefully, make Uncle Joe a lot of money. Yeah, Im a little overwhelmed right now
