Thanks for the tag Cynthia Sitton! 10 novels. Not overthinking it (is that really possible?) and in no special order: 1. Wuthering Heights 2. The Awakening, Kate Chopin (or Sound and Fury, Faulkner, oops cheating) 3. Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World-Haruki Murakami 4. After Dark- Murakami 5. The Crying of Lot 49-Pynchon 6. White Noise- DeLillo 7. Neuromancer- William Gibson ( Count Zero--er..., but Mona Lisa Overdrive--yes.) 8. To the Lighthouse- Virginia Woolf 9. Orlando- Woolf again. 10. Im torn- and I know this is blatantly cheating. Whatever. Notes from Underground- Dostoyevsky, and The Recognitions, William Gaddis. Damn, cant play by the rules-- 10 1/2.-- currently reading The Flamethrowers by Rachel Kushner, and its pretty great. Great novels should read like great paintings and great paintings should be experienced as great novels. Thanks, Stephen Douglas. That quote stuck. Sorry if youve already been tagged, but (tag me again and choose 10 more to tag) Tagging on: Jes Schrom, Jessica Slaughter Bess Bieluczyk, Jacquie Hundley, MaryAnn Heath Willoughby, Marie Bukowski, Marie Thibeault, Dara Engler, Nicole de Fee, Liz Miller Apparently I cant count either.
