Thanks for this one, Holly Galgano! Made me laugh, but I also think it is interesting discussion fodder for all ages and genders, which is what we have here. I AM glad that these younger men are seeing the value in mature women! OK, if I am in a cynical mood I might say that they likely also see the value in their bank accounts and/or lifestyles, but I am going to err on the side of optimism here and say that I am finding overall that younger men do seem to really appreciate older women - perhaps far more than men our own age. I dont think it has changed much that single men at 50 are looking at much younger women overall. So in many cases, this leads women in their 50s little choice but to be with a younger man. When we saw Kathy Griffin last weekend, she was vocal about the fact that her boyfriend of several years is 18 years younger than she. Filip was 9 years younger than me, which is not such as huge a difference, but he had a strong appreciation for my independence and strength, and no patience for the games of (some) younger females. And I will say that I receive A LOT more attention from younger men than from men my own age. Would love everyones thoughts on this entire idea of age difference - does it matter? Are these trends or is there a reason that the May-December romance is now reversing itself to older women with younger men? Discuss!
