The nature of God is so vast that it would take many sermons just to scratch the surface of who he really is. Just know that our God is so giving that he gave us his only Son. Jn 3:16 He is so patient that he has waited nearly 2000 years for mankind to repent and obey the gospel. Rom 2:4 God will punish all who reject the Word of God. Jn 12:48 f; Heb 10:29 He is so vengeful that all who obey not the gospel shall be thrust into a lake of fire. 2 Thess 1:7-9 God will judge his people and take vengeance for such belongs to him. Rom 12:19 f; Heb 10:30 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Heb 10:30 If it’s heaven we hope one day to obtain, let us get to know the one who created it. Gen 1:1 Before we mess with God, let us get to know God. As Jeremiah said, “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.” Jer 9:23,24
