Thanks for your prayers. I am feeling much better today. (No post surgical depression) For those who have asked, Thursday I had Arthroplasty on the Basilar Joint of my left thumb. (Sounds pretty official doesnt it?) This procedure historically involved harvesting a tendon from the patient to secure the repaired joint. The doctor doing my procedure has a 98% success rate using other donor tissue so I only get 1 scar instead of 2. I will still have flexible use of my thumb, which means I can still play golf, though reduced strength means my golf game wont magically get better. Thankful to be healing. God is Good!
