Thanks to Dave and Kirsty for adding me to this chain-letter type nonsense. I will indulge you with ten, mostly football related (surprise, surprise) memories. 1) Diego Maradona is my favourite player of all time. He had the best left foot ever (prior to Leigh Griffiths, of course). 2) Paul Gascoigne is the best opposition player Ive ever seen at Tynecastle (until Fraser Aird, of course). 3) Craig Levein is my favourite ever Jambo, with Robbo and Henry Smith making up my top three. Sadly, no place for Ian Baird! Levein bought me a Smirnoff Ice in Robertsons Bar and I took the bottle home. No idea where it ended up. :( 4) I played in two Hearts v Hibs charity matches (one at Tynecastle and one at ER) and have the honour of scoring the Hearts supporters sides first ever goal in these matches. This means I have more goals at Tynecastle than top opponent, Fraser Aird! The late Lawrie Tierney scored the winner in the 89th minute. 6) I played in two annual Melrose tea factory Hearts fans v Hibs fans challenges and both times (due to lack of numbers) had to play for the Hibs team!!! Drew 1-1 the first time and scored a header, right foot, left foot hat-trick in a 10-2 win the second year. 7) If you read my post last week, youll know I played 25 years for Gorgie Salvation Army (Gorgie United) and scored their first ever league goal at Port Seton and the winner the first time we won a game (it took a while) against Musselburgh at Polwarth. Also scored the ELEVENTH goal in an 11-0 win against Musselburgh when we won our first title in 2001 I think it was. 8) Ive travelled far, by bus and car...Ive seen Hearts and Scotland play abroad (including England) over 30 times. Got engaged in Majorca in 1998, just before Hearts drew 1-1 in Palma. 9) Non-football!!! Got married in Vegas, baby! Been to the good old U.S. of A. three times, all for weddings. 10) I told you I was boring!!! Not nominating anyone as chain-letters stop with me.
