Thanks to Denis, this website is amazing: https://hackerrank. I dont particularly think Scala is suitable for competitive programming. The language best suited for competitive programming needs to be fast, mutable, and has as few grammars as possible. I had to write tons of boilerplate code to satisfy Scalas data structure (they are good, but boy do I have to write a ton). The first submission I used linked list, it was not good. It turns out the updated method on linked list is very very slow. I had to change to ArrayBuffer, a corresponding mutable structure to fit to the timeline.
