Thanks to Tommy Rooney for these kind words that I think sums up perfectly how we, the residents of Cambuslang, feel about our long forgotten architectural history being brought back to life for the good of our small community. Have met some great people on this build and was cool to see the Wetherspoons official employees doing all their planning and stocking up in their new establishment. The passing residents of Cambuslang are clearly very excited and desperate to come in for a closer look. Ive a feeling this place is going to be the true social hub of the locals and beyond. Ill definitely be visiting for a pint and a meal. To be part of something which has so much history behind the building in its original form being brought back to life with true character in honour of the original architect Mr John Fairweather himself is a rewarding experience in its self. A little history goes a long way in this case and I believe this will be paramount to its future success! Not long to wait so I strongly recommend everyone to pay this refurb a visit and enjoy yourselves!
