Thanks to a call from a customer, we discovered a very large water leak in Cedar Point, across from Hill Street. Preparations have been made and we are ready to make the repair. Unfortunately, this will mean another water outage for a very small section of Cedar Point so we have scheduled for Monday morning beginning at 9 a.m. We do not know how long it will take to make the repair because we are not yet sure of the problem, but suspect there is a break at a nearby valve. The outage will be for all customers on Hwy 24 from Bell Street to just past Hill Street. Because of the valves available, we are able route the water in such a way that all food establishments will be should remain in service. We do apologize for the inconvenience to the homes and businesses in and around this area, including Buds Retreat residents.
