Thanks to a lot of effort by some very special people, these precious puppies from Marks, Mississippi are off the streets tonight. For the first time in their lives, they are safe and warm. I want to thank Suzanne from Marks that cared enough to reach out to us and for taking the time to send me the pictures to post. I want to thank Clay Vance that owns a business in Marks. He took time out of his day to gather these babies up and secure them until Rebecca Maccarone could arrive and transport them to the Oxford Humane Society. So many of you called me about helping out and we are most grateful for your concern. This was a group effort and Im so thankful to all of you. Rebecca was especially helpful and she also decided to keep one of the puppies and give it a loving home. And another one of the puppies already has a home. So only 4 actually went to the shelter in Oxford. If you are interested in adopting one of the remaining pups, please contact the Oxford Humane Society asap. Rescue..... Its a beautiful thing when everything comes together.
