Thanks to everyone who came out to see Makayla on Friday night at the Nova Scotia Music Awards showcase at Champions. She loved playing with the new band and loved knowing she was nominated for Album of the Year... and it showed in her set. She was a little spitfire on stage. This was the first time shed ever played live with these guys but she was as comfortable as if shed had them behind her for years. If youve never seen her play live you probably wouldnt expect the energy and spunk she has becuase she is usually so quiet and composed in her everyday life.
