Thanks to everyone who sent good energy, wishes, and prayers for my sister-in-law, MajorWife, as she started her deployment. My sister, Chica, is finding it harder than she thought it would be to be parted from the love of her life. I was touched that so many of you shared your own worries for your loved ones that are also deployed, and that you told me my books helped you deal with it. We send our positive thoughts, wishes, and prayers, back out to your loved ones, too. To all the military men and women that said my books helped them get through their deployment, thank you so much. I am honored that my writing brightened your mood, lightened your time, and helped you deal with real life trauma - Im happier than I can say about that. Sometimes I forget how much positive my books do and receive out in the world. Thank you for the reminder. Im so glad that what I do can help you both when youre deployed, and afterwards. That my fiction could help so many of you deal with the real life costs means Im doing something right. Thank you. For those already home, welcome back, and thank you for your service! For those still deployed - Be safe, be well, be happy, come home soon.
