Thanks to our Facebook Investigators, police have charged two men over a brazen case of graffiti vandalism on a train at Greenwood station. The CCTV was posted on our page, and officers used information you supplied to help charge the two offenders as part of Operation Eraser 8. The state-wide campaign ran last week, resulting in a record 507 charges involving 190 people. Since 2011, the Eraser program has seen more than 1000 offenders charged with almost 3000 offences. Criminal damage by graffiti is down, cleanup costs are down, and police intelligence holdings are making it more likely graffiti vandals will be caught and charged.
