Thanks to retired campus pastor Brooke Rolston, a friend of many years, for videoing my extemporaneous remarks on the background to my Holocaust & human rights art at a packed auditorium crowd at Cascadia Community College, Bothell, Wash. yesterday (Jan. 12, 2015). The video of my remarks is 12 min., 41 sec. My talk followed that of keynote speaker Jonathan Rashad, an Egyptian Cairo-raised photojournalist who arrived at SeaTac on Sunday night from a long trek from Cairo via London. I was a bit knackered myself (not enough sleep) so I hope my remarks were coherent. One can hope, hoo hah! As I mentioned to the audience, its only happened 2x in memory over the last 20 years of guest teaching, lecturing etc that I havent had visuals to go with.
