Thanks to the efforts of the Bluebell Railway Workshop staff and Volunteer support team some of the latest progress on fitting the myriad of refurbished components back on locomotive 73082. Part of the brake equipment, a substantial brake hangar assembly now freshly painted and back in position by the rear wheels. Another part of the braking system, a steam brake location point under the cab. The R H cylinder and valve cladding now superbly finished in gloss black. A circular inspection port in the cladding reveals the connection for the valve auto- drain components. This system is fitted to prevent damaging hydraulic effects from water build up in the valve chamber. The drain pipe and its support pedestal is pictured re-fitted under the cylinder.
