Thanksgiving....a truly AMERICAN holiday. Dating back to our roots. Non-denominational. Thanks to whoever you think is responsible for whatever you got to be thankful for....GRATITUDE. Pure & simple. The dinner is just tradition. The feeling is pure Americana. So thanks to all my fellow Americans....those who are in hell, eating your dinner off a tin plate in a sandstorm, and thanks to all those who had the same dinner in other hells at other times, and thanks to all the REAL people I know who still remember what honor & dignity is, and thanks to all the people who still think work aint a 4-letter word, and thanks to everyone who still thinks spanking your kids is worth going to jail for...so you wont have to bail THEM out of jail in a few years, and thanks to everyone who is willing to drive 20 miles further to shop at ANYPLACE BUT WALMART, and thanks to all the people who work at a farm or factory or store or pump gas or bake bread or answer phones or run a cash register or whatever you do.....and do it well and care about it, so the rest of us who depend on you can do what WE DO and we can ALL do better. And thanks to the kind people who help those who are genuinely in need & say piss off to the greedy scumbags who arent & are wise enough to know the difference. To all the people who belong on this list....Critter says THANK YOU, and feel free to pass it on. To all those who dont belong on this list...the rest of us dont need you, so feel free to start walking East toward Baghdad & dont stop when you get to the ocean!
