Thanksgiving week was wonderful. The food was (as always) superb Its a running joke in our family that elders have to call at least three other names, before they get the correct one. And all are getting old enough to play together, or at least be entertained. Some tough news from the cancer doctor. I have a pretty good sized blood clot in my right leg. Not familiar with those big hypodermics...so Bethany came by today, and offered her experience. We are so deeply grateful to you who are praying for us. Weight is down to below 230. Nearly what I weighed in High School. There are times my fortitude slips a bit, and I have to remind myself that we dont walk alone. Hallerin came over the other night, just as my leg started really hurting. His instant-diagnosis.....You have a blood clot. Bethany reminded me she preceded Hallerin...and Dena was first on the list. I wonder if Quillen, or UT have some blank out-of-state diplomas I could fill out. I would ask Emory, but I just cant afford out of state tuition ! Keep in touch, and I thank God for all of your kindness. And if you could spare a smile or kind word for someone today (youll know who they are) you will be a valuable asset to them.
