Thankyou for so many prayers. They were much needed today. A huge Oak tree was grounded. There were 3 guys cutting the limbs off of it. After a particular limb was cut, the trees pressure was alleviated. When Matt was turned the the other direction the tree rolled onto him. A freak accident. The tree was so heavy the other two guys had to cut it off of him. He passed out soon after impact. He has at this point 8 broken ribs. His collapsed lung put him on a ventilator till late afternoon today, as he couldnt breath. Many lacerations on his body. He is now off the ventilator and breathing. He will be in the ICU minimum 24 more hours before he is admitted to a regular room for 4-5 days (tentative). Then little movement month or so. It will be a very long painful recovery. We are going to need many prayers over the next 3 months:) so Day 9- I am thankful for Matts life. Life is frail, thank The Lord for each breath no matter how painful it is to breath.
