This can be confusing if we are not aware that this speak of a state of consciousness. The reference to Christ leads us to Oneness with God now made real in us by our use of It. I like to think that the point of Christ within is where our expressions of Oneness come alive. To students of truth,the fact that Jesus was called Christ means that he knew and exercised the same powerful awareness that we all have. It was not exclusive to him anymore than it is exclusive to Christians-not if the Mind of God is the mind all use, whatever it may be called. Our learning, then, is to bring up that which indwells so that love and power will lift and preserve us. According to the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas, Jesus said, If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you. Salvation from ignorance? Probably. Destruction of spiritual opportunities? Most likely. Like Jesus, we too, have the living Christ within. We can access this consciousness at any time, and our Oneness, once unknown to us, will surely be made alive and available as our knowing, vital essence. affirmation: I live in the glow of Oneness. I nurture and encourage the Christ consciousness within me. I choose to live a fully awakened life, one that heals and reveals. and so it is NAMASTE
