That advert when you go to the cinema The Royal Marines, its a state of mind, you may already have it as they cleverly sneak up on the hapless brown man and point some guns at him. Yeah right, whats the state of mind? Anti social personality disorder? Sociopathy? Or just a more general criminal insanity? Ive taken a journey through numerous different political/ anti-political ideologies in my life, one of the things which has remained the same no matter what is a total opposition to the military. In addition to my principled opposition I have also always had a severe distaste for anything related to the military; adverts, special days and events, uniforms, biased news reports, military language, etc. I have never had any tolerance for any of it and almost certainly never will. Id happily refuse to fight in any war, even the most apparently justifiable, Id sooner be shot than participate. Thats my thought for the day, can anyone relate?
