That is Russian history in brief. They send their cronies first to destabilize the local government, then they create a democratic government that is pro-Moscow and next would be annexation to Russia. They have tried that three times in Azerbaijan and twice in entire north part of the Iran. (Including Tehran). At this time, all Russian cronies in Iran have one objective: defuse Iranian opposition groups by diverting them and creating infighting so that their puppet Islamic Regime can survive. They have done very well so far.
