That is the problem with using faith as a rationale in any discourse. You see, faith and rationality are mutually contradictory. Those in faith should not argue with the rationalists and vice versa. Nevertheless, the faithly ones have always felt compelled to argue, and increasingly, the rational ones are engaging with them. The faithly ones will always lose since they bring to the duel a sword they do not believe exists. But what of the one who doesnt believe in defeat? For the faithly, defeat is an impossibility. The rationalist may win but the faithly do not lose. It is all a futile exercise. In the meanwhile, the rationalists have a lot of fun, while the believers think they are giving it what their faith asks of them. As futile as the battle might be, it shall go on waging all the same.
