Thats about the 80th nurse that Ive had to explain why Ive got a tattoo of a rat on my ass to. Its my mates and mines version of Jackass from back in the day I tell them...Bumrat. Right, they say...and what did you say happened to you? You fell off a railway platform onto the tracks? And what do you do for a living? Yeah thats right. Im a DJ I reply. Queue rolling of eyes from older nurses and bemused laughter from the young ones. Im not paying you girls to pass judgement on me I tell them. Now clean my ass and away with you. (Needless to say the last part of that conversation only happened in my head - after 7 weeks of this on a daily basis you get used to it, and at least it gives them something a bit out of the ordinary to gossip about)
