Thats five million working people who cannot cover their or their familys basic needs. And, thats why things must change. A vote for the Conservatives is fundamentally wrong. Osbornes sells austerity and lower taxes, he promises a brighter future, but for who? What he does not explain is that such gains are short term. 5 million people are condemned to poverty by his government and that number may steadily grow to tens of millions during the first half of this century. Europe and the United States are creating a permanent underclass. The conservatives drone on about a time where the ratio of workers to pensioners will be so low that there will not be adequate revenue to cover pensions. They scare monger to turn your hair white. And, it is true. They will not be able to fund pensions and healthcare so make a plan/arrangements now. But do not be fooled into thinking that todays policies will change anything. The problems we face are much more alarming. Youth unemployment in Europe is a key indicator of what might come. Those unemployed kids (poor and educated) are a statistic that will stubbornly grow. Some will age and never find employment that will cover their basic needs. There will be peaks and troughs, but watch carefully, the formation of the permanent underclass branded lazy welfare-mongers-cheats (of course there are some) is already happening. It will not be a lack of available workers, but a lack of decent jobs that creates our main problem. Each day, advances in technology make it possible for fewer and fewer workers to provide all the necessary goods and services required by society- even in highly skilled sectors of industry. The world-order is designed for and about corporate profits. It works for the few and not the many. Cameron and Osborne work for the few. Anyone who actually believes Cameron and Osborne, who are yet to be right about anything, must also believe Santa Clause and in the tooth fairy. Security policy is not just about terrorism, they whittle away our human rights for a time when the underclass becomes the enemy. Work hard, work smart and work quickly.
