(Thats right.. Im one of those people who write complaint letters!) To: BBC Complaints Hi, Id like to complain about Andys Dinosaur Adventures, shown regularly on CBeebies. My complaint about it is that it encourages some horrible personal traits, like selfishness and greed, and passes it off as an adventure. Let me explain further.. Hattie, Andys supposed friend and colleague at the museum is crazy about dinosaurs, yet Andy never ever bothers to invite her to go back in time to visit the dinosaurs with him, instead leaving her in dreary Manchester for her sins. What kind of friend would do that? My very astute 2 year old daughter actually asked me about this, saying, Daddy, why doesnt the man take his friend with him, when she has forged her career in the field of Paleontology, and would probably be made up for life if he took her along on just one of his adventures? Well, I had to reply, thats because hes actually a bit of a dick. Seriously though, what kind of a pull-the-ladder-up-behind-you capitalist scumbag philosophy is it that youre teaching our children? And that is why - as well as your unbalanced news reporting, sniffing UKIPs trumps and ignoring the Green Party in the recent European Elections... - as soon as the World Cup is finished, Ill be cancelling my TV License thank you very much.
