The 105th episode of the Simpsons was titled Lisas Rival. I always thought it was kind of funny that the rival girl to Lisa in this episode is named Allison Taylor. There was a girl in junior hight who was named Allison Taylor. There seemed to be some sort of universal agreement that she was perfect, but I cannot for the life of me ever remember having a conversation with her. I am guessing there was some sort of munchkin at the door saying NO ONE SPEAKS TO ALLISON TAYLOR, NO WAY! NO HOW!!! Anyway, Lisa has met some one who comes to her school and may be smarter than her and better at playing saxophone. After mutually trying to sabotage science project and both losing to Ralph Wiggums Star Wars figure diorama (which also gets destroyed, they learn to be friends. I am just sad that pictures of Star Wars figures had to be destroyed to achieve the end. I love epsiosdes that episode that made Lisa seem a little bit more human than usual. I also loved reminiscing about a girl whose hair had been dyed blonde so many times it had faint strains of green in it. The chalkboard gag is No one is interested in my underpants. The couch gag is that the Simpsons have to swim to the couch.
