The 2013 OPEA elections are currently underway in Region 3 (north central Oklahoma) and Region 5 (the metropolitan Oklahoma City area). Ballots were mailed July 29 and the election will close August 15. OPEA members in Regions 3 and 5 can vote by internet or phone, using the code on the ballot. As in the past, the election will be conducted by VR Election Services. Candidate information was included in the most recent edition of The Advocate. If you live in Regions 3 or 5 and have not received a ballot by August 5, call VR Election Services at 800-218-4026. If you are a Region 3 or 5 member, be sure your voice is heard by voting in this election.
